ALSO: I had a nice long stint of geek-ness last night, downloading AWESOME fonts and getting SO excited. So nerdalicious.

Catsanfonts
Last night while walking back from The Motley, I saw one of the many campus cats that inevitably appear every spring. I was so tempted to pick it up and smother my face with it despite its probable rabidity (rabidness? rabidacity?).

Beauty & The Beast
Trevor: "We've already established that if you were a Disney princess you'd be Belle, right?"
Paige: "Yeah, I think so..."
Trevor: "Because your dad's an engineer and Belle's dad was, like, an inventor-guy."
Paige: "Yeah, okay..."
Trevor: "And you like to read. And sketchy guys like you and follow you around."
Paige: "Haha. And I'm adventurous!"
Trevor: "Well, yeah... That, AND you fell in love with a big hairy man."

Sound the alarm
Trevor just informed me that his parents TURNED ON THE HEAT in their house. This probably means a) the heater is actually broken and turned on on its own; b) his mom has finally stopped having hot flashes; c) his parents were possessed by chilled-to-the-bone Arctic walruses for the past 20-odd years that have just now decided to get on with their migration.
If you picked "c," you get a treat.
Goodbye walruses. Have a good journey. I hope you enjoyed Jan's good-Jewish-mother cooking.
And you thought it wasn't really a class?
I noticed a flyer for an Underwater Basket Weaving event that some RAs are putting on. Not to be confused with this UBW. It is in fact literal ewe-bee-dubs. Complete with snorkel and flippers. Sa-weet.

"Good" morning to you, too.
Trevor has a bad habit of not drying off after he gets out of the shower.
I'm not just talking leaving a lake in the middle of the bathroom floor. No, it's WORSE.
Just imagine: You're sleeping in on a glorious weekend morning, and a BIG HAIRY WATER-LOGGED MAN rips off your covers and jumps into bed with you. Not to mention the water has chilled to icicles on his body. Your slumber has now not only been interrupted by the jolt of this large "innocent" puppy, but you now resemble an uninformed Splash Mountain passenger (COME ON, it's called SPLASH Mountain for a reason).
You jump out of bed, scowling at this sopping wet dude as he grins from under the covers: "What's wrong? I'm CLEAN!"
You push the bedhead out of your make-up laden raccoon eyes and walk to the bathroom where you proceed to drown in the lake your boyfriend has so lovingly left for you.
Puppy from the other room: "I just wanted to SPOOOOOOOON!"
Here comes the bride nerd.
If Trevor and I were just a LEEEETLE bit nerdier, I have a feeling we would totally get these.

An Introduction
Let's start out with some background about moi.
In my opinion, I'm a contradictory clash of hippie and class.
Basically I'm an eco-friendly, thrifty gal who is still conscious of her appearance and tries to look put together everyday. Here at my granola, "pot-friendly" school, I stick out like a sore thumb because I *GASP* wear high heels on occasion. In comparison to my boyfriend's business school friends, however, I might as well be wearing macrame sandals because I'm so OCD about recycling and sustainability.
I currently reside in Los Angeles, but I will be returning (in less than a month!) to my beautiful sparkling hometown of Seattle. I. CAN'T. WAIT. Get me out of this grime-slicked wasteland. ASAP.
L.A. makes me want to take a shower. But, let's get real here, people. Sleep is WAY more important than cleanliness on a lot of days. (But just because you don't take a shower, doesn't mean you must be forced to wear macrame sandals.)
